Embark on a three-day, 200-mile cycle challenge, starting in Trafalgar Square and finishing at the Eiffel Tower to raise vital funds for the UK’s only aeroplane ambulance service for children. To see the full itinerary, click the download button below.

To sign up, you will need to complete the form below, at which point a member of our team will contact you to collect the registration fee, and go through any questions you may have. You will also need to pledge to raise the fundraising target, raising vital funds (and awareness) to ensure we can continue our work.

Event experience

Lia’s Wings is a national charity that provides hospital air transfers for children. We ensure that babies and critically ill children can access specialist treatment and care, wherever they are in the UK.

What you'll receive

  • A fully-supported trip, you will be looked after by an amazing events team from start to finish, with a group of experienced outriders, medics and mechanics riding alongside you every step of the way.

  • Accommodation for three nights and all food and drink from the morning of day one, through to breakfast on day four are included.

  • A very special celebratory event is planned for the final night!

  • Point of interest cards, and a GPS route of the entire challenge (sent in advance).

  • A bike courier service to and from the start - from selected UK-based points (in advance of the trip).

  • Full support with your training and fitness before the event, to ensure you love every minute of the challenge!

What's not included

  • Travel to the start (Trafalgar Square) and return travel is not included in the trip, so will need to be arranged separately. The approximate cost of a one-way trip on the Eurostar from Paris to London is £60, and direct flights can currently be booked for £80.

  • You will need to take out separate travel insurance to take part – which specifically includes cycling as an activity. Most providers have this available as an option.

  • Extra food and drinks (separate from that provided during the challenge) will need to be paid for separately – including drinks in the evening (after dinner) and, any extra sightseeing or excursions you choose to do outside of the challenge.

  • High-quality road bikes can be hired for the duration of the challenge for a small fee (£50).
