Relay Riders UK members have chosen Lia’s Wings as one of their charities for 2024, the organisation's 10th anniversary.
Relay Riders UK, a non-profit organisation of like-minded bikers, get together to raise funds for UK charities. Founded in 2014, they are celebrating their 10th anniversary this year and have chosen Lia’s Wings to be a beneficiary of their fundraising activities during their decennial year.
Their biggest fundraiser is their annual Teddy Bear Relay. The relay is a non-stop motorcycle relay across the UK and involves volunteer motorbike riders carrying a mascot (usually a cuddly toy) and then passing it on to the next rider.
This year, Relay Riders UK members nominated Lia’s Wings and DocBike, a charity dedicated to eradicating motorcycle deaths, as their chosen charities. The relay will run in support of these charities for three weeks from Saturday 29th June to Saturday 20th July 2024.
Relay Riders UK welcomes riders of all levels to take part in the Teddy Bear Relay, from learners to seasoned veterans. To join the Teddy Bear Relay, visit: www.relayriders.co.uk.
