Every day, children across the UK and beyond need access to specialist medical care. For many, their condition or their location means they are far from the treatment they urgently need, and the only safe way to reach it is by air transport.
Lia’s Wings is the only charity delivering aeroplane ambulance transfers for children both within the UK and overseas, ensuring that every child can reach life-changing and life-saving treatment, and that their families can access bespoke, specialist support to help them cope through moments of crisis.
We help children and families wherever and whenever they need us.
The Lia’s Wings Flight Alliance
Aviation is central to our success and at the heart of our impact on children and their families. With the creation of our new Flight Alliance - a corporate membership scheme that we are launching in 2026. we are planning to build a strong community of like-minded companies and individuals to help us fly more children further than ever before.
This is a valuable opportunity for our Allies to collectively demonstrate the life-saving impact that can be achieved by the aviation industry, and to stand united in our ambition: providing aeroplane transfers for every child who needs us, and ensuring we never have to say “no” to families facing the unthinkable.
Your support has the power to transform our work, with the ultimate ambition being to fund every domestic air ambulance flight we undertake through the support of our Allies.

Launching in early 2026, we are inviting companies of all sizes to join our Flight Alliance, with Allies making a commitment to supporting our work through fundraising, awareness raising, and even operational support, to achieve lasting and positive change.
