Lia’s Wings’ corporate partner, Caprinos Pizza, won the PAPA Community and Social Responsibility Award at their recent awards show for their work with Lia’s Wings and other community groups.
Caprinos was presented with this award at the 34th PAPA Industry Awards (Pizza, Pasta and Italian Food Industry Awards), held at the Royal Lancaster in London. The Pizza, Pasta & Italian Food Association (PAPA) is the only formal trade body in the UK representing the broad pizza, pasta and Italian food and drink industry. Their annual awards show celebrates everything great about the industry and gives members, like Caprinos, the chance to show the incredible successes of their hard work.
On the night, Caprinos won two awards. They won the ‘Business Product and Innovation Award’ and the ‘Community and Social Responsibility Award’, which is presented to the business that has made the most significant effort to improve the world around them. They credit their partnership with Lia's Wings as being one of the main reasons they won that award.
Caprinos Pizza Senior Management says:
"Receiving the PAPA Community & Social Responsibility Award is a testament to our unwavering dedication to uplifting our community. This recognition validates our relentless commitment to making a positive impact, and it celebrates our strong partnership with Lia’s Wings and other community groups."
We are incredibly proud of Caprinos. Since our partnership started in March 2022, we have both grown exponentially. Caprinos have doubled the number of stores they have across the UK to almost 100 now. They have raised close to £10,000 for Lia’s Wings and are keen to grow their impact further as they open more stores in 2024. We have a very exciting year ahead!
Well done Caprinos Pizza!
