Fletchers Solicitors take the plunge for Lia’s Wings and raise £3,200!

Five brave employees from our amazing corporate partner, Fletchers Solicitors, took on an unforgettable challenge on Saturday 7th June, diving with sharks at Blue Planet Aquarium in Ellesmere Port, all to raise vital funds for Lia’s Wings.
The team began the day with a full training session to learn scuba diving basics before jumping into one of the UK’s largest tropical tanks. There, they swam alongside rays, eels and 10-foot-long Sand Tiger Sharks with no cage for protection!
In total, the group raised an incredible £3,200 to support Lia’s Wings. These funds will help us continue providing air transfers for babies and critically ill children, getting them to the specialist care they urgently need.
Lisa, one of the participants, described the experience as:
“One of the most amazing, surreal and difficult things I've ever done! 🦈🥽 Scuba diving is not as easy as it might look! It was fantastic to swim beside the sharks and other marine life, and I never knew that some fish liked to be pampered with a sand bath!
Thank you to everyone who supported me and my colleagues in raising funds for Lia's Wings, which is such a fantastic cause. And thank you to Lia's Wings for allowing me to be part of this crazy experience.”
