Lia’s Wings is delighted to be in the running for Golley Slater’s Charity of the Year for 2024!
Award-winning marketing communications agency, Golley Slater, runs an annual initiative called Golley’s Goodwill that aims to swap sending Christmas cards for their incredible Charity of the Year scheme. Around Christmas each year, Golley Slater asks employees and extended networks to vote for a charity to be chosen as the marketing agency’s charity partner for the following year. The charity with the most votes becomes their partner charity of the year and employees can get involved with lots of different fundraising and volunteering activities with the chosen charity.
Lia’s Wings is delighted to have been nominated by Golley Slater’s Growth Director, Bex Berry. In November 2022 we flew Bex and her son Evan from Royal Sussex County Hospital in Brighton to Pindersfield Hospital in Wakefield after he was born prematurely over 270 miles from home.
Bex says:
"From the second Lia’s Wings came to pick Evan and me up, to when they dropped us off, the whole experience was incredible and we were so looked after during a very stressful time."
