The Lia's Wings team is growing! We are recruiting a Fundraising Manager to support our wonderful corporate, community, and challenge event supporters. This role is integral to the growth of Lia’s Wings and a fantastic opportunity for someone looking for a role at a small charity where their efforts will make a real difference.


Fundraising Manager

Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 per year, dependent on experience.

Hours: Full-time, 35 hours per week.

Location: Hybrid - fortnightly team meetings in London

Contract: Permanent


Job Summary

Lia's Wings is looking to appoint a Fundraising Manager into a brand new role at an incredibly exciting time for the charity. As the only aeroplane ambulance charity for children in the UK, we are experiencing a period of phenomenal growth, with incredible opportunities and potential for fundraising. 


Being responsible for the management and delivery of our challenge events, special events and community fundraising activities, this role will involve working with some of our most committed supporters on a series of engaging (and fun) events that are continuing to grow year on year. The Fundraising Manager will also be expected to support our corporate partners and engage with our Family Fundraising efforts, giving them the opportunity to meet and work with our incredible beneficiaries first-hand. 


Who we're looking for

  • An experienced fundraiser (at least three 3 years experience) ideally in challenge events, community or special events role.

  • Demonstrable experience in developing and managing fundraising events from design to completion.

  • Someone who is passionate about giving supporters the best possible experience and has a demonstrable ability to build relationships and effectively steward fundraisers to exceed targets.

  • A strong communicator who is able to confidently engage with stakeholders of all levels to maximise every opportunity we receive.

  • Someone who can think outside the box and proactively solve problems.

Shortlisted candidates will be invited to interview. This will include a Q&A session and a written task. There will be a second round of interviews with our CEO and a Trustee.
