Lia’s Wings to host first-ever Annual Golf Day, sponsored by Altior

Lia’s Wings is delighted to announce the launch of our first-ever Annual Golf Day, taking place on Wednesday 15th October 2025 at the stunning Delapre Golf Centre in Northampton. The event is proudly sponsored by Altior, whose generous support is helping us bring this exciting new fundraising tradition to life.

This inaugural charity golf day promises a fantastic mix of sport, networking, and fundraising for Lia’s Wings.

A day on the course like no other

Golfers will enjoy:

☕ Breakfast and hot drinks on arrival

⛳ 18 holes of scramble golf, shotgun start

🍺 Mid-round refreshments from our dedicated beverage cart

🎉 Competitions including Long Drive, Nearest the Pin, and Hole in One — with a £5,000 prize up for grabs!

🍔 A celebratory evening BBQ with networking, prizes, and entertainment

For those new to golf, our Golf Academy package offers the perfect introduction, with PGA pro coaching on Delapre’s state-of-the-art driving range, followed by a round on the Par 3 course.

Competitions and Fundraising

As well as the £5,000 Hole in One challenge, golfers can compete in the Altior “Eagle Hunt” — net the most eagles in a day to claim a fantastic prize. Other highlights include the Golf Ball Raffle and Top Tracer driving range challenges, all helping raise vital funds for Lia’s Wings.
