Guidant Global raises over £1,600 for Lia’s Wings at their charity golf day

We’re thrilled to share that Guidant Global, one of our brilliant corporate partners, raised an incredible £1,635 for Lia’s Wings at their first-ever charity golf day.
The event took place at the stunning Bearwood Lakes Golf Club in Berkshire, where 32 golfers across seven teams gathered for a memorable day of sport, sunshine, and to support our vital work. Tee-off was at 11am, followed by a relaxed BBQ and drinks to round off the day.
Teams kindly donated their entrance fees to Lia’s Wings, and took part in fun competitions, including Longest Drive and Nearest the Pin. To boost fundraising even further, there was a raffle, the option to buy Mulligans (do-over shots), and lots of generous donations made throughout the day, especially as the Lia’s Wings team made their way around the course in a beer buggy, keeping players refreshed and in good spirits.
The event brought together Guidant Global’s clients and partners, who were not only pleased to support Lia’s Wings, but also truly engaged in learning more about our work and how their contributions will make a difference to seriously ill children and their families.
In an extra generous gesture, some members of the winning team even donated their shop vouchers back to Lia’s Wings, allowing us to convert them into additional funds to support our work.
We are so grateful to the Guidant Global team for choosing to support Lia’s Wings and for organising such a thoughtful and successful event. Every pound raised helps us continue to provide life-saving air transfers for critically ill children, bringing them the specialist care they urgently need.
